POCKET GUIDES to CITIES and COUNTRIES

The War Department published numerous pocket guides to cities and countries occupied by allied troops. They covered general customs as well as highlights to visit. Most men before the war never ventured from their own country, much less their immediate community, and many troops took advantage of these handy guides to take in the sight during off-duty time. Below I show the different exemples from my collection.
